Where Cartoon Animation History started!!

Have you ever wondered how do they do that? Although I am not here to answer all those questions for you, I will give you some brief answers. Artists would actually draw out the scenes which included both the characters and the backgrounds. One process is a flipbook. Artists would draw pages in a sequence with only changing minor movements from page to page. When they flipped the pages it looked like the character was actually moving. It takes 1,440 pages of drawings to create 1 minute of animated cartoon. These amazing drawings that created the actual cartoons, are available for you RIGHT HERE!!

Quality Ratings of Cartoon Animation History

Cartoon Animation History

The cels are rated on a scale of A, B, C and D. Every 5 pack is guaranteed to have at least two A rated cels in it, which is the best. The others will be randomly selected between B and C. D ratings are no longer included. In addition, if you decide to go bigger the 10 pack will have at least 4 A rated cels and the 15 pack will have at least 6.

  • A Rating- The graded cel visibly shows 80% – 100% of a character. Just remember it says a character, which does not necessarily mean the main character.
  • B Rating- The graded cel visibly shows less than 80% of a character.
  • C Rating- The grade cel might include parts of a character but these cels mainly include scenery or other aspects of the show.
